The Expendables The Game App Review
The Expendables the game is a third person shooter game for the iTouch, where you play Barney Ross you only objective is to defend yourself or survive waves of Garza’s men. Everything is very basic on the controls, graphics, and audio. This game has an online leader board and very crisp intro images, along with a non-interactive environment.
I did not get a chance to see the Expendables and I hope it is nothing like this game. You move your character with the 3 axis accelerometer, which is a good thing, the bad thing about this is, you aim by moving your character. You have a stop button that will stop you from moving automatically temporarily in order to turn around quicker when engaging the enemy. So with how the game controls are setup this make game play too hard for comfort because you cannot really shoot anyone running around unless you are standing right in front of them with full health. You do have health boxes to pick up along the way to help you stay alive. This game experience was not a good one it felt like I was playing the worst game on the N64. The graphics are very poor, there is no way to aim your gun, and you cannot use your environment interactively.
The Rundown
- · This game is worth .50 cents
- · The worst control setup I have seen for an app
- · No game content (multiple characters, more than one weapon)
Overall The Expendables Game is Expendable, I give this game a 1 out of 5!
