Time Crisis 2S App Review

I am very excited to see that Time Crises is back not in the arcades but on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Time Crises Second Strike is a first person action shooter based on the original arcade series. Aspects of this game are exactly like the original just with a different storyline. This game has 3 different game play modes, Episode which has 10 stages in all, Time Attack and Score Assault. Time Crises Second Strike has two control setups; the default has a crouch button on each side of the screen and the alternative uses tilt function to control crouching and standing on setups tap over the enemy to fire.

There is no scrolling aspect to the menus and the basics have proved to make this game very fluid with no crashes. The in game graphics are good if you like the feel of the original games but in this day and age the graphics should have been drastically improved. I was not happy at all when I found out that everything in the game except the cinematic was still very blocky and low quality. Despite this reoccurring problem with the Time Crisis game series, the app has high replay value because of how this game was designed and the two alternative game modes. Time Crises2S needs an online leader board to keep the local and global challenges going; this was one of the reasons why I played this game in the arcade so much.

I must say I had mixed feelings about this game for the price $9.99 in my opinion this game is worth 4.99 at the most. I really do hope that this game will have more stages added in the updates and better graphics to keep people interested. I would recommend this game for fans of Time Crises but not for newcomers who want great graphics and online play. Overall I give this app 3 out of 5 for lack of graphics and a ridiculous high price.
