Animals On Board App Review

If you enjoy exciting games like Angry Birds and would like your child to have fun playing iPhone games as well, then Animals On Board is the just the game you want to get for the holidays. Animals On Board is a trajectory and balance game that stars you as Noah, your main goal is to get as many cute animals on to the boat as you can without tipping the boat over. Addiction to this game lies in the time trials in my opinion which consists of obtaining the greatest height, amount of animals and number of pairs in 60 seconds. Two player modes allows you to take turns with whoever is next to you, only downside is you only have 9 seconds to pass it on and toss the animals.

The Game Center holds the online leader boards which can be checked by week, current, day or all time for Total Score, Free Play, and Time Attack with Animals, Height, and Pairs. Achievements can also be viewed in the Game Center. As you earn points in the different game modes, more animals can be purchased when you reach a certain amount, or when you select the zoo under the More section. The training section only has instructions and explains a little bit more about different things in the game, I was expecting maybe a non-timed or non-tip mode but regular game play is good enough.

Animals On Board runs fairly smooth overall, in between loading the next game there is only a 3 second pause, the game has not crashed on me once. I love the music that plays in the background along with some rather entertaining sound effects. The animation is ideal for this type of themed game for all ages. The basic setup for this game was done just right, each animal has a different weight which makes it easier to figure out what and where each animal should go. One good strategy for this game would be to make a line straight across the boat just in case you misjudge a throw later on in the game. I must say different backgrounds would be nice or weather conditions, and I was most impressed by the battery usage only 7% consumption after 30 minutes. Overall this game is a good buy and for only .99 cents it well worth it, you will not be disappointed.
