The user starts out by adding the typical body information of weight and height, the next step is to enter in the information from the food package or on the offline database. The restaurant database has 405 entries, along with this Low Carb Diet Assistant already has preset food items that you can search for. The user has the ability to add drinks, custom foods and look at previous entry for quick references.

Other than tracking the caloric intake, the user can track his or her BMI and water intake on a daily basis. The water feature allows you to tap the glasses, to visually confirm how many of glasses you have had for the day, and turn it side ways and you have a nice line graph. The next feature for the tracking system is weight. The user can enter their weight by scrolling to the poundage, displaying to tenths place. Once again turn you ipod, iphone, or ipad to the side and you have another line graph. In the food log section the user can go back see all the entries from each day, this even has a line graph for the carb count.

The down sides for Low Carb Diet Asssistant is that you cannot enter the time you have weighed, its worth $0.99, and you have to go online or find an outside source for dieting tips. I still can not complain I lost about two pounds watching my carb intake.
