Apple LogoWhy Pick on Apple?  This could happen to anybody.

According to a report from Apple on Monday, some iPhone and iPod users have been experiencing a little shock on their iPods or other digital music players due to a buildup of static electricity. Apple’s support site showed a few viewers had voiced concern about the condition. It is likened to the type of shock you get when you drag your feet across the carpet. It is not necessarily a malfunction of the product as static can build up on any hardware, however, they did offer some suggestions to help. Since the condition is worse in extremely dry areas, they suggested buying a humidifier, using hand lotion to moisturize your hands, or using anti-static spray.

We, here at Apps in Review, wonder if next time you call Apple about mp3 players, you may also hear about the iHumidifier, the iLotion and the iSpray. Maybe it will even come in a big kit with arm straps.
